Tim's Trail

Cindy took the kids hiking the other morning with their new hiking sticks that she got them and they had a blast... They love spending time with her and they love to be outside, so it was a win win situation! She also wore them out for me and let me have time to grocery shop on my own, so mom was a happy camper too! :)

Spring!!

We have been having some awesome weather here this year... Beautiful, warm days and some really fantastic thunderstorms!! We have hit 90 once already this year already and we took advantage of it and got the kiddie pool and sprinkler out... The kids have also been taking advantage of the nice weather and using the heck out of their 4 wheeler and dirt bike. They do pretty well on both of them even when mom is shrieking silently while watching them speed around the yard. Braxton wants to be out there with them so badly but for now he has to be content climbing up with Josh EVERY TIME that he is around one of them! :)

Preschool Spring Program

Beau, Ellie and Parker finished up their year of preschool with a program the other night... Hard to believe that Beau has only one day of preschool left and will be starting kindergarten next year - where is the time going! As usual Beau belted out the tunes and did a fabulous job up there!!

Grandpa

Grandpa turned 88 the other day and we stopped over to wish him a happy day! Braxton started out in the picture but Bella never seems to be able to quite leave him alone, so we ended up with the 3 oldest...

Just like dad...

Whether you are a girl or boy at my house it doesn't matter - if it's shirts off time, it's shirts off time! Josh was out working in the garden with the kids helping him and he decided that he needed to do something about the stark white body that he has... well, that was enough said for my kiddos and they joined in the fun immediately! :)

Fashionista!

Oh I remember the days... back when I only had 1 child to get ready to go out the door, 1 kid to get dressed in the morning and so much extra time on my hands to make sure that he looked just right. That has obviously gone out the window with the more kids that we have! :) Honestly my kids are pretty independent and like to pick out their own clothes and get dressed on their own. As long as we aren't going out in public I'm okay with that... and that's why we have days when we look like this -

My little monkey... He loves to climb on everything and anything! He has really gotten into riding all the rocking horses that we have at our house.

Circus!

So excited! It was that time of the year again when we get to spend some time with Josh's brother and his family... His dad and Cheryl flew in and we all headed up to Bemidji to spend some time with Jimmy and Yolanda and have some fun at the circus. After 2 days of going non stop my kids were wasted but had a blast spending time with their cousins and being put to work at the circus... Well, maybe not all work! :) As usual the show was great, the kids had fun and we got to spend a lot of time with family. They even made the trek up to Sebeka for a night, which was an added bonus. Can't wait for next year!

Brody's 7th birthday!

I can't believe that my baby turned 7 this year!!  It seems like just yesterday that Josh and I were in Arizona, getting the baby room ready and wondering what the heck we were doing! :)  Bringing him home was one of the happiest days of my life and I sometimes wish that I could stop time so he would stop getting so big!  Other times I just sit and watch him and I am so amazed at what a fantastic kid we have - we must be doing something right every once in a while!  :)

Raingutter Regatta

 Brody's boy scout pack had their raingutter regatta the other day...  We are amateurs at this whole derby stuff and it definitely showed this go round.  He ended up in last place in his group, but he had fun doing it!

Soccer Goals!

I was checking through some of the blogs that I like and found a fun pattern for some soccer goals!  It seemed like a fun, cheap, easy idea that the kids would love.  Josh was on his long haul of being gone so I enlisted my dad to come over and get us up and running!  Between him and Josh I am sure that they LOVE the fact that I find all these FUN ideas! :)
