Our sauna!

We decided last winter that our sauna needed a redo, big time!! The bottoms of the boards were rotting, the heater hasn't worked since about a year after we moved in and it was just old... We began our project last winter with my brother in law fixing the actual sauna part, buying a new heater and new plumbing. We were very excited...

Enter in an impatient husband who wants everything in our house done RIGHT NOW and it turns into my dad and Timmy coming over this fall to finish off the dressing room area. It looks awesome and I am very excited that it is all done. We only have one part left to do and that is build a bench for the sauna area... Since it isn't winter yet we haven't used the sauna too much but it will be nice to have VERY soon! :)

Dressing Area

Wine/Towel Rack = I love pinterest for all the fun ideas that I have found there!! I think that this worked awesome in the sauna area and the colors fit perfectly...

The actual sauna! 2 showerheads so I don't freeze my hiney off when Josh decides to hog the shower! Makes life with 4 kids and giving showers much easier also!!

Brody lost a tooth!

After a lot of waiting and a lot of fidgeting, Brody has finally lost his first tooth!! He is ecstatic and couldn't wait to make a million phone calls to tell people. The tooth fairy arrived and thankfully she knew that mom wanted to keep his very first baby tooth that fell out so she left him a note saying that I could have it. That tooth fairy - she is a thinker! He has one more loose one, so I am guessing that she will be back to visit really soon!

Riding the bus!!

So, preschool started last Thursday and you know that I had to go and drop Bella off so today was her first day of riding the bus... She was so excited! I actually got a chance to grab some pictures! Can't wait to hear about her day... Brody, Beau, Bella, Deacon and Aubrey headed for school...
Not the whole gang that I will usually have, but a bunch of them!

Saying prayers

Each time that we sit down for supper we start by saying a prayer. I have been working on Braxton folding his hands with us and tonight was the first time that he kind of got it.... I made everyone say prayers again while I grabbed my camera so that I could get a picture!! What a cutie... z

Bella's 1st day of school!

Bella was so excited to be going to preschool this year! She knows her teacher this year pretty well (her daughter babysits for us all the time) and her class is full of friends and cousins! The first day was a breeze for her and hopefully she can keep her sassiness in check while she is in school!

Camping!

We got to do one last camping trip the weekend after Labor day and it was a blast... A little chilly but we had fun anyhow. The pool was closed but the campground that we went to has a bike track and a lot of games so we were kept busy the whole weekend!

Meet the teacher and Back to school!

I can't believe how fast the summer has flown by... I think we got all our fun in, at least I am hoping so! :) The boys have already begun school and they are both super excited... I can't believe that I have a 2nd grader and a kindergartener! So crazy! Beau and Mrs. Lindroos
Brody and Mrs. Dragseth

Cities trip!

Our last big hurrah for the summer was to spend the weekend in the cities with my brother Reggie and his family and my cousin Mic and his family.... We headed down on Friday where we tried a restaurant that Josh has been talking about forever and spent some time at an amazing free park - seriously, it was like McDonald's playland on steroids!! Reg and I headed over to watch our dad play a little baseball since his old timers team was playing in tournaments down there on the same weekend. 9:00 game is a little too late for all the little ones, especially when you still have a full weekend of fun planned. Then on Saturday morning Mic and Molly and the kids met us to head over to Como Zoo and an evening at Chuck E Cheese, a first for my kids!! Then on Sunday we headed over to watch the Saints play a little baseball, thanks to an awesome groupon deal that Laura found... It was a BUSY fun filled weekend and a great way to send out the summer...
