Reason #4,736 that I love my Husband!!

I hate ironing... with a passion... you will usually never see me in a shirt or outfit that I have to iron, even when my clothing picks for the day didn't include yoga pants and t-shirts! So, on the rare occasion that I need something ironed, Josh comes to the rescue! With his new job he wanted me to buy him an ironing board so that he can look super spiffy. I thought that he might need to test it out! :) Love you baby!!

Cub Scouts

The boys headed out last Saturday to help clean up a dump close to our town... It didn't take long but I love how they are learning about helping our community and giving back!

Raingutter Regatta

We had our Cub Scouts Raingutter Regatta tonight and the boys, as usual, had a great time even though they didn't come out in first place. They love cheering everyone on and the moms and dads love watching the boys run out of breath as they are huffing and puffing their boats down to the finish line!! Quentin and I took a spin at it at the end of the night... I need a little more practice and will have to call for a rematch next year! :)

Introducing Tin Tin!

So, when Oz died this past fall, Josh immediately decided that we needed another dog to take his place so Ruby wouldn't get lonely... I decided that we needed to wait until spring so that I didn't have to be out in the snowbanks training another dog on the underground fence that we have. So, we found this puppy and decided that she would be a good fit for our family. So, we picked her up on Monday at 7 weeks old and I don't think that the kids have put her down since... We are loving her so far (except for the 4:30 wake up call that I got this morning) and it's adorable to see the "puppy phase" with her!

Braxton decided that he needed to nap with Tin Tin in her bed...

Easter Monday!

The kids didn't have school for the Friday, Monday and Tuesday around Easter and although we didn't have any big plans, we took advantage of the nice weather and got a lot of outside time. Yesterday we went to the playground in Wadena and played for a bit and since the wind was a little crazy so we thought that we would try our new kites that the Easter Bunny brought us. The little ones got frustrated pretty quick since the wind kept gusting and then dying, but Brody had a great time with it...

Easter Fun!!

Our yearly Easter fun is always held at my aunt and uncle's farm... Egg hunts for the kids, basket hunts for the adults, games, awesome food and fun times with the family!! This year the weather was FABULOUS and we spent the majority of the day outside enjoying our first great taste of spring...

Braxton getting way too up close and personal with the cows! :) I asked uncle Mike if the electric fence was on since he managed to either grab or hit it about 4 times... He checked and it was on and working - how Braxton got so lucky, I'm not sure... Either that or he is really tough!!

The kids have started playing the game that we made up when we were younger and had all our family get togethers... At one point all the kids (my cousins and I) and the grandkids (all our kids) joined in to play! I love making great memories with our family!

Beau was super curious about what was in the old barn... Uncle Mike got to give a few of them a lesson on farming! :)

Then we came home and got to do our own Easter egg hunt...

Egg Dying!

With Easter only a week away and Josh thinking that he is going to be gone for the week we decided to do our egg dying today. We had a lot of fun doing our eggs and the kids are getting a little more creative with their decorating, now they need to just have a little more patience and we might get a little darker colored eggs! :)
