Last Day of School

Today is the last day of school for the year. Can't believe that my babies are getting so big - Bella will be a 1st grader, Beau will be in 3rd grade and Brody will be a 5th grader... It's going by so incredibly fast! Reg was Brody's teacher this year and that was an experience for all of us - he stopped by to drop off Zoe for daycare and when I told him I wanted a picture before Brody rode with him to school, he propped him up on his hip and smiled nicely... Who can resist that shot! :)

Beau's 8th Birthday Party

We have Beau's birthday party on Memorial Day each year to cut back on getting my larger than life family together for the umpteenth time! I love have a lot of family, but it does seem that we are always celebrating something, so we do try to pair up as much as possible. I surprised him with "Donny", his favorite Ninja Turtle for his cake and he was very excited. He plans to spend all his birthday money on TMNT gear! Oh boy!

Brody's Track and Field

After a quick break at home and some lunch, we headed back over to the track for the 2nd half of the day. 4-6 graders ran their track and field and we got to watch Brody, a bunch of cousins and friends run and have fun!

Bella and Beau's Track and Field Day

The kids had track and field day (finally! they were rained out twice before they found a beautiful sunny day...) and they rocked it. They all tried super hard and Bella was very excited to participate for the first time. She ran the 50 yard dash and the 200 meter dash and did the long jump. Beau ran the 50 and 200 yard dashes and also did the long jump (which I wasn't able to get a picture of). This group of pictures was from the K-3 grades, so there are a few extra pictures of cousins in the mix!

Beau's Field Trip

I got to go with Beau's class to the Camp Confidence Learning Center in Brainerd last week. It was an amazing field trip and kept the kids busy and engaged the entire time. I love that I am so blessed to be able to take part of my kids' lives is such a great way.
