Santa's arrival

Santa made it to the Connor house on Christmas Eve and the boys were very excited to see that all their cookies and carrots were ate, the milk was drank and presents were left! By the end, Beau had really got the hang of opening up presents...

My Christmas excitement...

So, the whole clutzsy part of pregnancy finally caught up with me... Christmas Eve we came home late from mom and dad's and I was heading downstairs with Beau to put him to bed. I THOUGHT that I was on the last step, but obviously was not. I spent Christmas Day hoping it was a really bad sprain, but found out Friday that it was not. I fractured my ankle and now have the pleasure of wearing a boot, spending the next 2 weeks on crutches with strict instructions to stay off of it and not being able to be very helpful at all! Fun times at the Connor house!

Snow Days...

The day that we got back from Arizona, Minnesota was getting hit with A LOT of snow! Since the temps have been WAY below freezing, the boys have not had a lot of opportunity to go out and enjoy the new snow. We finally made it out over Christmas break and they are having a ton of fun... Brody got a new sled from Grandma and Grandpa Kiser, so Daddy spent a lot of time today pulling him behind the 4-wheeler...

Making cookies for Santa...

Tonight's the big night! Santa is on his way and Brody is really into it this year! So, this morning we had to get up and bake some cookies to leave out for Santa and get the carrots ready for his reindeer! He has been full of questions on whose house he goes to, when does he come and on and on... I am very excited to start some traditions with my family that we can share year after year!

Brody's School Christmas Party...

Brody had his Christmas program at schoollast Friday afternoon. They sang us all their songs and then got to stay for a while and make ornaments, play games and do crafts. His cousins Eion and Gavin are in the afternoon class, so we got to see them perform also!

Beau and the belly...

Beau has started pulling up my shirt to "see" the baby. It is so cute, especially when he starts kissing on my belly!

My boys meeting Trevin...

Brody repeatedly asked when we got to go see the new baby, so when Ronnie came home yesterday, we headed out to there house. They both loved holding him, although 2 seconds after I took the picture of Beau and Trevin, Beau put him in a headlock. Okay, maybe it was his version of a hug, but he has about 22 pounds on him... Getting him ready for the future with his wild cousins I guess...

Introducing the newest addition...

Josh and I are once again an aunt and uncle. Ronnie and Chris had yet another boy to add to the Kiser grandchild collection. Trevin Rex was born this morning at 7:26 weighing in at 8 lbs and 8 oz and 20 1/2 inches long. He is a cutie and I actually got to go and spend a little time with him and his mom and dad tonight BY MYSELF!!! Mom and baby are doing great!

Fun with our cousins...

We flew to Arizona last week to spend some time with Josh's family, for his sister's wedding and also get Christmas in. We had a lot of fun and the boys got to spend a lot of time with their cousins...

Amazing Jake's...

Since we went to Arizona at such a random time, everyone was working and we had a lot of free time during the day... So, we took the boys to Amazing Jakes one morning and played hard. They went on rides, played games and ate like crazy! Beau got to ride a lot of rides with Brody that he probably wouldn't have, but they were pretty slow. Brody had them both spinning so hard on the teacups - Beau was flying everywhere. They were hilarious together and Josh and I were crying we were laughing so hard!

Christmas with the Osburn's...

Our first round of Christmas fun came with Josh's mom, stepdad, Jake and Danielle and their son Landon. Landon is scooting all over the place and the boys had fun chasing after him, picking on him and playing with his toys...

Fun with friends...

While we were there, we tried to meet up with friends and family as much as possible. The boys and I spend one morning playing at McDonald's playland with my friend Cady and her kids Cooper and Addison. They were definitely tired after they left!!

Christmas with the Connor's...

While we were in Arizona, we made time to celebrate Christmas a little early. Our second round of Christmas fun came with Josh's dad, stepmom and all of their gang...

Allie and Todd's Wedding...

We flew out to Arizona for Josh's sister's wedding. It was beautiful and we got to hang out with all the relatives, especially ones that we don't get to see very often. Brody had a blast spending time with his cousins!

Elefun!

Brody is really getting into games lately (yeah!) and we busted out Elefun once again the other day. Beau actually got in on the fun. They didn't even fight the whole time! It was great!

Christmas!!

We decided that since we are going to be gone to Arizona the next 2 weekends, we should do our tree this weekend (okay, more my idea then Josh's! :). The boys had a lot of fun decorating and we got it all done before Josh had to leave for the week!

In my daddy's shoes...

Beau definitely knows what he wants and he knows that when he needs to go outside, he needs his shoes on. He will go downstairs, get his shoes and then bring them to you so that you will put them on him. Well, he decided to take matters into his own hands and just put daddy's shoes on by himself. This of course was the pre pictue - before he got frustrated that he couldn't do it by himself and started throwing the shoes! :)

Brody's New Pet

Brody found a fake snake that he has had for a while, but it has (for the weekend) been a permanent fixture for him. He decided to play dentist with daddy for a little while and the snake did a great job checking Josh's teeth!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great time trick or treating tonight. Brody is really getting into it and wanted to keep going and going... Beau really doesn't get it yet, but he did try to go into everyone's house that we stopped at! :) All in all our little Hulk and Spider did great and we have candy coming out our ears...

Beau's new bed...

Beau is transitioning into his big boy bed, so we have taken off the front of the crib and put a rail up in its place, so he doesn't fall out. Well, after 2.2 seconds, he mastered climbing out. So, we have been having to put a gate at the door to keep him in his bedroom. Today at naptime, he must not have quite made it back to his bed after standing at the gate... Not so comfy to me, but I guess - he slept 2 hours, so I am not complaining...

Josh's favorite pumpkin..

So, Josh has made it no secret at all who he is voting for and does not hesitate in the least to talk to anyone and everyone about his views... So, my "liberal family" as he likes to call us, decided that it would be funny to make him an Obama pumpkin to have on our front porch... I thought it was quite humorous and I made him promise not to destroy Reg's hard work (40 minutes worth) until after Halloween. Hey, if we have to have a McCain sign in the front yard, we might as well have an Obama pumpkin on the porch...

Pumpkin Carving...

We carved pumpkins yesterday with the boys... Obviously at this point Josh and I did most of the work, but we still had a good time. Brody did help to gut 3 of the 4 pumpkins and then had to have snack for working so hard! :) He got to pick out the patterns we used. Of course Brody's, Wow, Wow, Wubbzy, was the most intricate, so Josh spent most of his time on that one... They turned out great and the boys love to go outside and turn off the lights to check them out...
