Bouncies and the parade...

We headed out to Nimrod (the town next to us) for their celebration yesterday. They have softball and volleyball games, free bouncy for the kids and a parade... It was a little warm, but the kids had fun and of course got lots of candy!

Beau's Bath

We have lots of pictures of Brody in the bath on his own (1st child luckiness), but rarely does Beau get to play by himself in the tub. Due to Brody deciding that he should "clean" the edge of the tub with a whole cupful of water, he had to get out. SO, Beau got the rare and wonderful opportunity to actually play in the WHOLE tub by himself. He was loving it!

Family Vacation...

So, the whole Kiser Clan took a trip to the cities this past weekend. It gets a little wild with 11 grandchildren and 12 adults going everywhere. We had quite the caravan with 5 cars everywhere that we went, but it was a lot of fun. We stayed in Chaska (a suburb of the cities) and spent the weekend checking out the sights. Dad had Relics state tournaments, so we all got to catch a game with him too! We started out our Friday at the apple orchard by our hotel. We got to go on a hayride to pick apples, see some animals, play at the playground and just run around. It was a great start to the weekend.

At the hotel...

The hotel we stayed at was great... They had a big grassy area out back that the kids could play on, a path by the river and a nice fire pit. The kids had a blast with the kites that Grandma brought (once the adults finally got them airborn).

Como Zoo

We started our Saturday at the Como Zoo. Checking out all the animals and ending with rides made for a long day of walking and excitement for all of the kids...

Fire Hall

On Saturday we went to the Fire Fighting Hall and Museum. This was very cool for all the kids (and the firefighting dads too). They got to slide down a fire pole, play in real fire trucks, pump water, wear the turn out gear and go for a fire truck ride around town. It was a lot of fun for everyone!

Camping Fun!

This weekend we hit another camping spot with my brother Reggie and his wife Laura and their kids - Kolby, Gavin and Parker. The boys had a blast together, especially at the lake. I swear, my boys don't even need a lake - they are good to go with a whole bunch of sand! They love it! We had a lot of fun and hope to make it a tradition with our families...

New Baby...

I started doing daycare again this week. I have my one family for just a few hours a day for this week and then full time next week. They had a new baby in June and the first thing Brody wanted to do was hold her. "Me not play mommy, me hold Aube (Aubrey)" He loves holding her and starts out their time at our house every day just holding her. Hopefully a sign of good things to come!

We-Fest!

Josh and I hit a big country music festival in Detroit Lakes, about 45 minutes from home, last weekend. We had a good time seeing the shows (Kenny Chesney, sigh) but definitely decided that we might be getting to old for that scene. Mosh pits, college kids and getting shoved around by everyone was not so much fun! :) But, at least it was a date night! :)

Mom's little chef...

I was busy working on throwing a chicken with potatoes and carrots in the crockpot, when Brody decided that he needed to join in. He actually did a pretty good job of peeling the carrots - maybe I'll have to get him in the kitchen a little more often! :)

At the lake...

We hit the lake this weekend with Reg and Laura and the kids, Mic and Molly and the kids and Luke and Rachel. We went to Laura's parents and got to have a little fun on the boat and around the dock. The kids had a day full of fun and came home tired! It was great!
