Daddy Time

Josh ended up having to work out of town for the past couple of days. The first time since Bella was born, so we have been really lucky. He just got home tonight, so he got to do the bedtime story...

Red Eye River

I just had to post some pictures of what our town is looking like right now. Between all the snow we got this winter and all the rain we have been getting the past few days, the ground can't keep up and it is flooding like crazy! I asked mom if she has ever seen it this bad and she doesn't remember when... Crazy! And to think that this is nothing like what other places are getting...

So, our snow is almost gone and the spring rain started coming in this weekend. The boys are loving all the melting that is going on and since they go out in their mud boots - I figure, what the heck! Beau is especially loving it and never wants to come in!

Bella's Baptism

We had Bella baptized on Sunday. It was a wonderful day that we were able to share with all of my family and Josh's dad and Cheryl were also able to be there with us. Her Godparents are my sisters and their husbands and Josh's brother Jimmy and his wife Yolanda.

Springtime (?) Walk...

The weather has took a turn for the better here. We got dumped on last Tuesday with a foot of snow and now we are in the 50's and the snow is rapidly melting... This leaves us with a muddy mess, but we though that we would take advantage of it and go for our first walk since last fall. The kids had a blast and Bella didn't even freeze to death! :)

Bella got to join the whole family in bathtime in the sauna. She did great and pretty much sleeps through her baths, what a lazy girl! :)

Brody's "new" room

Who needs rest when you are on maternity leave? Brody decided that he wanted his room painted, so we spent the last couple of days redoing his room. He is very excited about it... He wanted it green, so we picked out one of the colors from his quilt on his bed and went for it! It turned out great, especially with the handprints from both of the boys...

Beau is obsessed with hats right now and it doesn't matter how big or small they are, they are on his head. He also still loves holding Bella and will plop himself on the couch at any given time and wave his hands at me - his signal that it is his turn to hold his sister...
