New Cousin, yet again!

Zoe Elizabeth Kiser made her appearance last night! She is 7 lbs and 15 oz and 20 inches long. So, you know that I ran to see her as soon as the boys went to bed last night! :) We might have to go back tonight so that they can get a chance to meet her...

Co-Ed Naked Playground...

We busted out the slip and slide last night, since the temps have all of a sudden soared into the 80's... The boys had a blast, but then they decided that they needed to play in the sandbox and playground, sans swimming trunks! :)

New Cousin...

Brody and Beau got to spend a few minutes holding their newest cousin, Hudson Eric. Brody has been waiting forever for this moment and made sure that he washed his hands "super good" so that he could hold him...

Fishing Opener

Fishing Opener was this weekend, so Josh loaded up the boys and took them to the local lake for a few hours. Although he had his doubts that they would catch anything, especially with the cheesy poles that I made him buy - Beau got a nibble and Brody caught a large mouth bass! He was very excited.... Unfortunately it was a pregnant one, so Josh had him throw it back - fortunately they chose to do that, since we found out the next day that bass opener isn't until June!! :)

The Jimmy...

The boys have a new move that they call "The Jimmy". During the circus after and sometimes during his show - Little Jimmy will hold his arm out to point at the other performers or to end his act. Well, obviously Brody picked up on this and has made it part of any trick that he now does... and Beau being the little brother is the biggest copycat in the world! Here is Beau doing "The Jimmy"...

Bike Park

It was Kolby's 8th birthday this past Saturday and he wanted all of his cousins to join him at the bike park in Wadena. Ding - wish granted! Unbelievably all 19 of the Polman cousins got together and played for the a few hours in the morning! It was great fun! Even the newest member of our family "Hudson Eric" made it for the day!

Pretty Princess...

For those of you that know me pretty well, you know that I have talked about that when I have a girl I want her to be in dresses, but a tomboy. I want her looking pretty, but covered in dirt. Well, I got my wish! The only problem is that my baby girl likes to not only be covered in dirt, but to EAT it too! I can't stop her... I don't ever remember the boys being this bad, but obviously my daughter loves the taste of it. Yep, scoops it up and takes a big old bite... Dirt, mud, rocks - nothing is safe from her! YUMMMM...

Brody's school work...

So, of course on Monday Brody got to take pictures of the circus into his classroom and coloring books that his auntie Yolanda had given to him for his class. I think that his cousins and the circus is all that he has been talking about... I know at home he has been practicing juggling (with one ball), skidding to a stop on his bike and other "circus" tricks... He came home with this coloring sheet and I just had to share it! You can tell what made the biggest impression! :)

Spending time with the in-laws...

We got to have our yearly visit with Josh's brother and his family this last weekend. Their circus comes to MN in May and we always head up to Bemidji where they get to stay for two days and we get to have fun hanging out with them... We made it to their 2nd show on Thursday night, Brody got sick at the end of it - but rebounded on Friday to spend the whole day running with his cousins! I think they all had a great time...We then stayed for both shows on Friday night, trying to get in all the time that we could with them! Both boys fell asleep during the 2nd show, but they didn't miss an elephant or pony ride for all the 3 shows! It was great to see Jimmy, Yolanda and the kids and we can't wait to do it all over again next year!

Brody's 5th birthday!

We had Brody's 5th birthday party on Saturday night and had a lot of fun. The plan was to end with a bonfire, but unfortunately the weather had other plans... The kids were able to get outside for a scavenger hunt, but we mainly stayed inside and visited while the kids played. He got a lot of fun stuff and had a great time with our family!

Brody's cake...

As many people know, Josh and I are big Food Network fans... Well, we decided that we wanted to tackle "fondanting" a cake sometime and Brody's birthday was the lucky winner! He decided that he wanted a Batman cake and that no - just having Batman's face on the cake was not okay! Josh tackled the decorating and although it was our first time, I think that it turned out pretty good! I can't wait for him to see it tonight!!Rolling out the fondant...

The fondant is on!

Penny and Pals

Thursday night we headed to Wadena to have supper and watch Penny and Pals. I think that she is a local musician that has a couple of cd's and puts on a pretty cute kids show. All the cousins also went, so it was fun to watch them all getting crazy, dancing and joining in the fun! Ellie had a few tears every time a new "pal" came out, but other then that it was a fun night for all!
