Coming Home...

We got to come home on Friday!! It is nice to sleep in my own bed (that I have a heck of a time getting in and out of right now), get him on some sort of a schedule and be able to hang out with our kids!! Yay... The nurse came out today to check him and his billirubin (? spelling) is much better and he has maintained the weight that he was at when we left the hospital! Now if we can keep him sleeping mostly through the night mom and dad will be very, very happy!

Braxton Brian Connor

He is finally here!! Braxton Brian was born March 23, 2011 at 7:55 am. He was 7 pounds even (due to blood pressure issues, he is by far the smallest byabout 2 pounds! :), 20 1/2 inches long! He is doing really well and a super cutie! This has been my roughest delivery by far, so it's a good thing he is the last! ) We are both doing well though and will hopefully be going home today...

Wrestling Qualifiers

We are getting to the end of the wrestling season and Brody had qualifiers in Detroit Lakes this weekend. This means that in order to wrestle at regional competition, he has to take 1st or 2nd place at 1 of 2 tournaments. So, we headed to Detroit Lakes this weekend in the hopes that he would qualify this weekend and not have to worry about 2 meets next weekend. He did place 2nd and would have qualified anyhow, but since the tournament had less then 200 participants everyone that was there qualified for regionals... Such a weird sport!! So, we are off to Bemidji on the 26th of March for regional competition... Let's hope this baby is either born by then or stays put until the 29th when he is supposed to come! :) Here's a couple of pics... Not super great ones, but of course I forgot to grab my extra batteries and my camera went dead soon after getting there!

Quiet Time...

Brody has been rocking at the reading right now!! He loves to sit down and read all his library books and this time I caught all of them piled together "reading" a nursery rhyme book that we have. It was too cute...
