Sleepover!

The kids all had their first sleepover last night. Brody tried to have one with his birthday party but a bunch of his friends couldn't come and some weren't quite ready for the overnight part of his party... So, this time we played it safe and had cousins over... They had a blast and did really well with the sleepover. They played up a storm and watched a movie and actually went to bed at a halfway decent time! :) Brody and Gavin

Duluth Trip!

We spent this past weekend on family vacation in Duluth MN. It is so beautiful there!! We pulled the camper up on Thursday and came home on Monday morning... Fridy we spent time down at the harbor where the kids had the most fun playing on the rocks (shocking huh?) and standing on the anchors. We also did a tour of one of the ships that used to sail into Duluth. Saturday we went to the zoo and spent the day at the campground swimming and biking. Sunday we hiked a beautiful trail, Congdon Park Trail, and TRIED to do some geocaching... Each night we got to hang out around the campfire, go for a hayride, an ice cream social and letting go Chinese Lanterns. It was nice to have a lot of fun activities to do at the campground so we didn't feel like we were running the entire time... It was a great weekend!

Helping mom!

Who loves helping mom with laundry? Braxton loves to find his way into my basket when I am bringing it up and down the stairs...

Last Day of the Pool

Our town pool closed a few weekends ago due to the lifeguards having to start back up their school schedules so they had a fun game day at the pool on the last day. It was a wee bit chilly to be swimming but the kids had a lot of fun... Here are a few of the picks from the watermelon tug of war that they did using a greased up watermelon! Did you know that watermelons float?? I didn't! :)

Brody swimming lessons

Brody had swimming lessons this summer also and he was in Level 3... This is a harder level where they have to learn a lot of new strokes. He passed with flying colors and we were so proud of him! Brody and Shania

Geocaching

Took a few hours the other weekend and went out looking for a few geocaches. It is an adventure no matter what we find and the kids always have a blast!
