Heartland Trail

We headed out to Park Rapids and the Heartland Trail with my cousin Heidi and her two boys Griffin and Hudson today! The start was in Park Rapids and we biked 6.3 miles to Dorset for some tasty, huge portion sized ice cream!! Definitely worth the biking that we did... Then we had to get back on the bikes and head back to our vehicles... It was a fun time and we only had to endure a little whining at random times from 5 out of the 6 kids! :) It still left us with plenty of time to do some visiting while we rode!

Track and Field

Sebeka's S.C.A.B. group started something new this summer... We are doing our own "twist" on track and field events and holding a track and field night once a month this summer. There are running races, relay races and other fun events. The kids have had a blast at the first two and we can't wait to see what events are going to be at the last one!

Bike Park!

Our summers always have to include a trek or two to the bike park in Wadena, usually with all the cousins! The kids love it and the older that they get the more adventurous and daring that they get... Trevin even made his first attempt with riding without training wheels and did awesome! It was a great day to spend with all the cousins!

Swimming Lessons

In the midst of all the other chaos that we had this summer the boys also had 2 weeks of swimming lessons! They were both able to pass (probably since we are at the pool on a daily basis) and thanks to their teacher Shania!

Summer Teams!

Brody and Beau played in summer rec this summer with Brody on the T-Ball team and the 10 and under Little League team and Beau playing on the T-Ball team. They had a lot of fun and hopefully learned a little more about how to play baseball! They had some great, PATIENT coaches that made it a great time!
