Detroit Lakes Community Center

We had Monday off from school and work so we decided to take advantage of it and spend some family time doing something new... We headed over to Detroit Lakes and checked out their community center. The kids had a blast playing in their "backyard" play area, doing some swimming (Beau and Brody were obsessed with the diving board) and then back to the play area. We definitely had some tired kids by the time that we were done for the day!

Family Birthday!

Bella celebrated her family party with a bunch of her cousins this past weekend. It actually ended up being right on her birthday and we had a great time celebrating. We had a brunch after church and our coffee "cake" almost went up in smoke with the amount of candles that were needed to celebrate four birthdays with a 15 year old, 12 year old, 7 year old and 6 year old... :) Bella had a great time during her party and then crashed and burned that afternoon. A headache and throwing up was the way we spent her after party... Luckily she bounced back quickly.

Girl Scout Roller Skating!

Bella's girl scout troop went out for lunch and roller skating on Valentine's and the family got to come with! Our kids LOVE to skate, so we all had a lot of fun. Bella showed her crabby side and refused to skate without Josh or I holding her hand the ENTIRE time. Hence the fun "Cousin It" pouting picture! :)

Bella's First Birthday Party!

Bella is on the verge of turning 6 and she got to have her first birthday party with her friends this weekend. She chose to have her party at the new Maslowski Wellness Center and go swimming. It was great day of fun for her and I'm so happy that she has a great group of friends...
