Cousins!

Brody and Beau are both very close in age with my sister Roxie's 2 girls. They were actually hanging out together at the latest T-Ball game and Brody wanted me to "take picture of us, mommy". So, here is Brody and Elyse and Beau and Ellie...

Who needs a girl?!?

We got together to play cards at my cousin's house the other night and Megan, the only girl cousin in the bunch that gathers together, decided to play dress up with Brody and Gavin. They of course were all for it and we thought it was hilarious when they came walking down...

Dentist!

Brody and I took a little trip to the dentist on Tuesday. I had to have a crown put on (don't chew on jawbreakers, it gets expensive...) and Brody had his first check-up... He played shy on them, so they peeked in his mouth for a nanosecond, but he got a toothbrush and all kinds of goodies. Maybe next time they will actually be able to see something...

Camping Weekend!

We spent this weekend camping in Staples at Dower Lake, which is about a half an hour from Sebeka. We had an interesting weekend with heavy thunderstorms, hail and a possible tornado on Friday night,a family reunion back in Sebeka on Saturday, and a lot of windy weather all weekend... But, we had a lot of fun with the boys anyhow.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July full of sunny weather, family and fun. Josh and I took the 4-wheelers (his new one and my dad's) out to Heino's and had fun with the family for the day. Then we went out to my cousin's and shot off the fireworks that we had to cross the border to get, but Josh just had to have... It was a long day full of fun!

Walking Tall...

Beau is starting to finally take off with his walking. He has been "cruising" the furniture for quite a while, but he is getting braver and braver and will actually take some steps away from the furniture now...

Beau has been getting a lot of attention for starting to walk, so Brody has decided that he needs to "be the baby" again and practice walking... When he isn't doing this, he is "helping" Beau walk - which gets a little scary, but they both giggle the whole time!
