The boys had their annual raingutter regatta for Cub Scouts this year, IN THE PARK!! We were so excited to have decent weather that we actually had it outside of the shelter. Although they didn't place in their categories, they had a lot of fun racing and cheering everyone else on.

Hiking with my Boys
The other day my boys decided that they wanted to go hiking on Tim's Trail. It is a great time to go... the ground is fairly dry, there are no mosquitos and the weather isn't too cold. So, off we went. Bella decided to stay home with Dad so it was just me and some quality boy time. And boy time it definitely was... Trails? What trails? We headed off the beaten path, followed the river, climbed through swamp, got boots stuck in mud, threw rocks, sticks, small children and anything else we could lift into the river... It was a great adventure that left mom tired and the boys asking when we could go again. I think they had fun! :)

Eggs!
We got our eggs dyed and decorated tonight and the kids have the stained hands to prove it! I love spending time with my family passing on the traditions that my family grew up with... Plus I get to see my hubby's artistry in different ways! :)
Birthdays!
Birthday party time again for Braxton and Brody... Brody decided that he wanted a dragon cake, which we were actually able to put together and Braxton found a pack of dinosaurs that he wanted on his cake, so we were able to make his cake wish happen as well! :) They had a lot of fun and were excited to open presents and spend time with family!

Saturday Fun
So, weThad nothing going on today and we decided that we were going to take the kids out to the new movie "Home" for the afternoon matinee... This turned into a day long adventure that the Kiser's joined us on as well! Nothing like Pizza Ranch and a movie to make the perfect Saturday! :) When we got home Brody decided that he wanted to go and play some frisbee golf. We haven't been out this spring at all yet so even though the weather was a little chilly and windy we ventured out. Of course we can never go on our own so he ended up calling the cousins to see if they were up for the adventure as well... and an adventure it turned into for sure. The holes by the river proved a little tricky for the Kiser clan and we ended the day with Reggie in waders and a hockey stick checking to see if the ice would hold and if it didn't, how deep it actually was. Life is always an adventure if you are willing to go out and find it! :)
Bounce Adventure
Braxton's birthday landed on a day that the kids didn't have school. So, this mama took the day off and headed to St. Cloud. Bella and Braxton got pictures taken, we bought sandals for summer, went for a yummy lunch at Olive Garden and then headed off to Bounce Adventure, which is a whole building filled with bounce houses. We managed to steal Josh away from work for a little bit even though they are starting to get back to work and the kids had a fabulous time!
