Vacation!!

Our first day of vacation turned out to be a toasty one. We headed up to Duluth MN and checked into our first campground.... which didn't include a lake or pool... what?? This is a first for us but we made due. That meant going for a bike ride when the heat was around 90's and finding a river winding along our path. There may or may not have been signs talking about no swimming, but wading isn't the same as swimming, right?? Braxton was a rock star on his bike, especially since he just got his training wheels off about a week ago. We ended up biking about 9-11 miles that day and definitely went through a lot of water! :)

Brody at Camp Emmaus

This week was Brody's turn at Camp Emmaus and although we missed him like crazy, he had a blast and didn't want to come home even after a full week. He stayed in the same cabin as his cousin Teagen and made a lot of new friends. I love that my kids love Camp Emmaus as much as I did when I was little! Next year ALL FOUR get to go!

Braxton's First Ride

Braxton parked his bike in my garage instead of their toy shed and I ended up taking off one of his training wheels. That meant that it was time to try riding on two wheels! :) So, we went out last night and worked on it a few times and he just took off... He is rocking it and keeping up with the rest of us already!

National Night Out

SCAB hosted National Night Out again this year and the kids had a lot of fun... Bounces houses to play in, vehicles galore to climb through and even a mobile shooting unit. It was a good time!

Brody's Turn!

This is the week that Brody gets to go to Camp Emmaus! He is there with his cousin Teagen and he has seriously been waiting for this week all summer. He loves going and I can't wait to hear all the stories that he has to tell us when he gets back!

Bible School

While we were on our trip to Michigan, the kids missed a night of Bible School and they were definitely in a hurry to get back to it. On our last day on the road they asked if they would get to go to Bible School that night if we didn't stop at all on the way home. I told them that we would probably make it and right then the decision was made. We left at 10:00 in the morning and drove straight through, with a 15 minute potty break and grabbing lunch stop and then it was back in the car. They were super excited when we pulled into our yard at 5:00 and were at church by 5:45. I love that they are so excited about Bible School!

Professor Marvel's Magic Show

We got to head out to the Wadena Public Library for a fun magic show. The kids loved watching him and Brody got to be a part of it for one of the tricks. It was fun to watch his expression when the trick happened right in front of his eyes!
