Spring concert 2018 is under our belts! The kids did a great job with their songs and I love watching them sing their hearts out. Braxton was a little somber this year with his attitude, but he knew his songs inside and out! :)

State Wrestling
Wow, this seems like so long ago! In reality it was only about a month ago and what a wild weekend it was! Braxton qualified for state wrestling this year, placing 2nd in the regional tournament, only losing to 1 other boy, who was a 2nd grader. Down at state, he went 1 win and 2 losses for his first appearance. He also got to wrestle with the team, who qualified for state as well. He went 5-0, with 3 pins, all of which he did while unknowingly having Influenza A... Whoops - guess it wasn't the cold that mom and dad thought it was! He had an awesome year at wrestling this year and I foresee a lot more wrestling in our future with him. While it is a long season and towards the end it gets tough to keep up the pace, he has a lot of fun with it...

Easter
Easter Sunday - busy as the rest of our lives! :) Brody and Beau got to serve breakfast at church this morning as part of the youth group, Brody played prelude with the bells choir, read the gospel and helped with communion for part of his confirmation assignments and he and I sang in the church choir. Then it was on to Grandma Sheree's for our annual "mini" hunt where they get a few MORE treats from her. Then we headed out to my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Mike's where we had Easter dinner, spent time with family and did yet another hunt for baskets and eggs. I love our family traditions and spending time with everyone! So much fun!!
