Baby "B" #3!

Before we left for our mini-vacation, I had my 21 week ultrasound. The tech doesn't say much, but we saw a head, 2 arms and 2 legs, so things are looking pretty good so far! :) I was leaning towards finding out this time, but Josh held strong - so no we don't know what it is... It was laying on its tummy, so we didn't get really good pictures, but here is one of them...

Josh and my vacation...

Josh and I headed up north to Duluth to a Bed and Breakfast for our anniversary (4 years!!! Can you believe it?) We got to take in the scenic north shore drive and do the touristy thing and spend some time Christmas shopping without the rugrats along... It was a lot of fun and great to spend some time with just the two of us.

Chores...

So we are working on Brody learning that he has responsibilities around our house... Some involve being paid for them (which of course he loves) and some involve just being part of the family and doing our share. One of the chores he decided that he wanted to do is bringing the trash cans in after the garbage man comes... He got home from school on Monday and asked if he could go get the trash cans. I thought that he would do them one at a time, but my little man is a Kiser all the way - no wasted trips, carry as much as you can the first time!!

Homework...

And it begins... We actually have a little workbook that Brody loves to work in, but this was his first piece of actual homework that was sent home from school. We are still working on it, but the letters are kind of there...

Fall fun!

It is that time of year - it is starting to turn cooler, the leaves are turning colors and they are falling off the trees! Grandpa Polman gave us the leaf bagger that hooks to the back of the mower that he gave us last year and Josh was out yesterday picking up some of the leaves... As you can tell most of them are getting redistributed by the boys, but they had a great time!

Josh's new toy...

So, Josh and I decided last year that it would be cheaper to heat our house with wood rather then electric... So, we had some wood delivered - we cut it and that was that. Well, this year Josh decided that he found a steal of a deal and had a semi-truckload of wood delivered to our house... In the long run it will be cheaper and he got to buy a new toy - his chainsaw!! So, hopefully this wood will last us a couple of years and Josh will have all his fun cutting up the wood!

Big boy!

Brody made the leap last night! He has been potty trained for a while now, even taking naps in his underwear with no problems. Well, he has gone a week with dry diapers at night, so we thought we would make the leap to underwear at night! The first night was a success... I am not expecting miracles though and do have extra sheets set out for that middle of the night changing sessions!
