Braxton's first surgery!

Braxton has been having ear infection after ear infection since January and we finally saw the specialist about having tubes put in. He said that he was definitely a good candidate for them and we got him scheduled. There ended up being an opening a month earlier then expected (thanks to my sister in law deciding to cancel her daughter's tube appointment) and we got him in... Thank God for that, since he was once again on antibiotics for yet another ear infection! He did fabulous through surgery, had about a half hour of fiesty time after he got back to us and then has been doing well since then. Hopefully this antibiotic is the last one that I have to buy for him for a while!!





How come daddies always get them when they are happy?? :)

Father Night

Beau had a father child night at preschool and Josh was able to make it home for the night to take him. They made a fabulous bird house that is already hanging in our front yard!!

Brody and two girls in his grade were asked to speak at the school board meeting this past week about the field trip that their grade took a few weeks ago. He worked really hard and even typed up his speech. They all did a great job!

Easter Fun!

Easter weekend was a busy one for us! With Josh being gone so much lately we didn't get a chance to dye our eggs until Saturday, after the Easter Egg hunt that we had in town that day! The kids had a blast and loved that Grandma Cindy got to join us for it... Easter Sunday was spent at my aunt and uncles, hunting eggs and having family fun and then coming home to our house to hunt for some more eggs!

Easter Egg Hunt

SCAB had our annual Easter Egg Hunt this year and the weather was fabulous! No fighting the mud or snow and the rain held off until right at the end! It was a great morning for the kids and our SCAB group!!

Easter Bunny

Beau's preschool class had a night with the Easter Bunny last week and the kids had a blast! They got to see the Easter Bunny, plant a seed, have a snack and do a craft... What a great night for them!

My outside boy...

Braxton LOVES to be outside with his brothers and sisters... I can have a fussy crying baby inside and the second that I step outside and set him down he is the happiest boy on the earth! It's a fun transformation when we are outside but not so fun when I have to be inside and he's not quite old enough to stay out there on his own...
