Wrestling in New York Mills
Beau is still part of the wrestling club this year and he is having fun while doing it. He placed 2nd at this tournament and came out aggressive. Super proud of the way he is trying his best at his matches! His cousins Parker, Landon and Eion are also wrestling, so the first picture you see is of his cousin Landon...
Pine Wood Derby!
The boys had their annual Pinewood Derby for Cub Scouts again this year and they had a blast putting their cars together and racing them against their friends.
1st Scrimmage in Henning
Brody had his first basketball scrimmage of the year in Henning and while things looked a little rocky at times, they also had some shining moments as well. He has tournaments this year with the 3rd graders and then others with the 5th graders. Hopefully all the ball they will be playing will only help them get better.
River Skating!
While the rinks that we usually frequent around town were still trying to get their ice figured out, Reg and Laura had the perfect rink with no work right out their back yard. The river froze over nice and smooth and they invited us over for a day of skating... It was nice to be able to get the kids outside to do something even though we don't have a lot of snow this winter yet!
Working with Daddy
Josh is on a mission to turn the toy room into a tv/game room and while I have been trying to hold him off until daycare is completely finished, we did start some of the renovations over Christmas break. That included getting rid of the million buckets of books that were sitting against the walls and actually buying a few book shelves. After 7 years of teaching I acquired quite a few books that I just can't bear to get rid of when my kids are still little enough to enjoy them! Bella decided that she needed to help out with the building of the bookshelves. Quality time with daddy can't be beat!
