More Brody...

Being on c-team means a lot of games, a lot of traveling and some whining from the brothers and sister about how much basketball that they have to go to.  Their turn is coming though and I definitely make sure that Brody sits through his share of elementary basketball and wrestling! :)  I love watching them all play...

Basketball - Beau

Being in 5th grade, Beau's team has a few more tournaments to get to play in, but they also participate in the halftime games during the varsity games.  There are only 2 boys in basketball in 5th grade, but they pull up a bunch of the 4th graders that want to play so they make a team and Beau gets to play with his cousin Parker.  He is having a lot of fun with it this year and learning a lot.  I love watching him improve year after year...

Bella's basketball season

While third grade doesn't get a ton of tournaments (2 this year), they have gotten to play at halftime of the b-team games quite a bit.  It is fun to see Bella and her friends and classmates out on the court learning how to play basketball...  She was a little leery this year about basketball and I persuaded her to try it and see what she thought.  Great idea, as she is now loving it and dragging her brothers and dad outside (when it is warm enough) to shoot some hoops...

moving on up!

Due to the size of our school, sometimes our numbers are a little lacking in the sports department.  That means that the younger boys (and girls) get to move up as their seasons finish and see some playing time on the court with the older teams.  Brody finished his jr. high season and immediately went into playing c-team and dressing for b-team.  This is great experience for them, even if it means a lot of losses due to the 7th and 8th graders playing against 9th and 10th graders.  He is still having fun with it though, so that is all that matters!

Christmas - Round 2

I love Christmas morning with our family. The excitement in the kids eyes, the wrapping paper flying everywhere and me trying to capture it all!  Then they have some time to play while Josh and I put toys together, clean up and get ready to head over to our next Christmas fun with the Polman side...

Family

Christmas - Round 1

Planning Christmas with our family is always an adventure... the kids are getting more and more active in so many things that it is hard to find a weekend (or a day) that we can all get together, but somehow we always manage to find a way!

We had a great day spending the morning with my dad and the evening with my mom.  It's so fun making all our crazy memories!
