Girls Basketball Autograph Night

Bella's 3rd grade basketball season came to an end with her last half time game.  They really do it up right for the girls that participate and it was a super fun night for all of them. They introduce the players over the loudspeaker, they get to be a part of the "tunnel" for the varsity girls when they get called out and then they get autographs from all of the players after the game.  It was a super fun night for Bella!

Basketball Tourney in New York Mills

As I have said before, the boys have had a kind of rough go of their basketball careers. Not a lot of numbers in the win column, but this was a different day for Beau and the team that he played with!  They put up two big wins and only one loss and ended up with a 2nd place finish in the New York Mills Tournament this year. There was a lot of happy faces on the court this day...  which was great, considering they only had 5 players on their team for the whole day!

Ice Skating

We haven't been able to get outside a lot this winter. Way too cold temperatures have kept us inside, so we have to take advantage of every kind of nice day that we have. The boys finally got out to the ice rink and did some skating and played some hockey. It was still a feels like of single digits below zero, but hey - that felt warm compared to what we had been having!

2nd Chance Prom

Every once in a while, we get a night out and a date night!  Sebeka C&C put on a 2nd chance prom that Josh and I headed out to. It was a fun night - nice dinner, a little Bingo and some music and dancing. It's always nice to have a reason to dress up and go out with my handsome husband!

Braxton wrestled hard, but came up a bit short in this tournament.

Homecoming Fun!

I love my job as a substitute, especially when I get to be at the school for the fun events that the kids participate in.  Brody and his friends took part in the lip sync contest and the dodgeball tournament, while Braxton got to be part of the trivia team and Bella helped her class with a scavenger hunt.  Fun times! :)

Busy days!

Once again the busyness of our weekends took over and we were on a running mission!  We started with wrestling in Verndale for Braxton (2nd place finish), ran to the grocery store and then headed over to Bella's first tournament of the year (won 1, lost 2). Then it was back to town for the boys basketball game that Brody was a part of, halftime firemen's basketball (which Josh was a part of) and all the fun that goes along with a weekend of Homecoming activities.  We were pretty drained by the end of the night but a fun day was had by all!
