Spring Band Concert

We had a blast watching our oldest boys and a whole slew of nieces and nephews perform in their spring band concert this year. It is amazing to watch the progression from 5th grade band to Jazz Band and Sr. High Band.

Cousins!

We all got together to celebrate dad's birthday the other night and dad thought that it was a great time to get a picture of all 18 grandkids...  It took a few takes, but they are getting quicker the older they get!

Spring Concert

Spring concert 2018 is under our belts!  The kids did a great job with their songs and I love watching them sing their hearts out.  Braxton was a little somber this year with his attitude, but he knew his songs inside and out! :)

State Wrestling

Wow, this seems like so long ago!  In reality it was only about a month ago and what a wild weekend it was!  Braxton qualified for state wrestling this year, placing 2nd in the regional tournament, only losing to 1 other boy, who was a 2nd grader.  Down at state, he went 1 win and 2 losses for his first appearance. He also got to wrestle with the team, who qualified for state as well. He went 5-0, with 3 pins, all of which he did while unknowingly having Influenza A...  Whoops - guess it wasn't the cold that mom and dad thought it was!  He had an awesome year at wrestling this year and I foresee a lot more wrestling in our future with him.  While it is a long season and towards the end it gets tough to keep up the pace, he has a lot of fun with it...
