1st Camping Weekend!

We went on our first camping weekend this past weekend and while it wasn't the ideal weather for camping we still had a great time. Beau chose to invite a friend along for the weekend as his "friend" party for his birthday so his cousin Ellie got to join in the fun. We set up on Friday afternoon before Brody's play, so they got a bit of time in at the lake before the rainy weekend. Saturday morning was spent playing games and watching movies in the camping while we waited out the rain but then it actually stopped long enough for the kids to get outside and have some fun. Josh and I were not brave (or maybe stupid??) enough to get into the lake, but the kids did a bit and they loved it... Hopefully the next camping adventure gives us much better weather! :)
