Menahga Wrestling Tournament

This one could also be title "Lessons Learned". He placed 2nd in this tournament, losing only to a kid that he wrestled super hard against and never gave up. We found out after they finished that, in his frustration, he had bit the kid that he lost to. Good and bad? We knew the parents of the boy, so we were able to talk to them, have him apologize and we made him give up his medal for this tournament. Sportsmanship is a huge thing and we are working hard on teaching our kids that it is okay to lose, but you have to do it gracefully. Thankfully he learned his lesson and it didn't happen again... He even came back to beat the same boy at another tournament that they met up at.
