Our first night of camping was a bit crazy... due to Stingers baseball and how the playoff schedule looked, we couldn't book a campground for Saturday and Sunday, not knowing how the games were going to pan out. So, as we were leaving on Saturday morning, after they lost on Friday night, the phones were busy looking for where we were going to stay and what was available. We found a cute little campground in Rapid River. As we ventured out, the weather looked like it wasn't going to cooperate with us, but luckily Josh decided that we should send the kids in, even if it was raining and not very warm... They were all excited and after about a half an hour, the weather turned sunny, the waves in Lake Michigan died down and the kids had a blast playing in the water, checking out the pier and finding a super cool playground. We literally had to pull them away when it was way past supper time... So of course, to tide them over, we had to stop for ice cream on the way back! :)
