Rollag

This Labor Day weekend, we headed out to spend a day at Rollag, Minnesota.  There we participated in a variety of activities that the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Association had to offer!  We rode the steam powered merry-go-round, got walking sticks that were cut from a steam powered saw (always a favorite of the kids), Bella, Brody and I learned how to square dance (a little), carved soap, printed on a foot pedal powered printing press, drove tractors and so much more!!  The kids always have such a great time and Josh is anxious to take them back again!

Back to School!

Back to school this year was a bit of a mess...  Bella missed meet the teacher night due to a fever and Beau ended up missing the first day of school because he came down with what she had.  Yikes!  Talk about starting the year off crazy...  The kids have some great teachers though and I can't wait to see the great things that they do throughout the year!

Yellowstone Vacation - Days 6 and 7

On day 6 we left Cody, Wyoming and headed back towards Minnesota.  We made a pit stop in Bismarck, North Dakota and spent a few nights there before coming all the way home.  We found another random park to stop at for some fishing and fun and then headed to a Bismarck Larks baseball game.  Although the night ended with a huge rainstorm, the kids had a lot of fun with all the activities that they had at the ball field.

Yellowstone Vacation - Day 5

With all the driving that we did the day before, we decided to just chill and hang out around Cody on Day number 5.  Always the champions of finding random spots to hang out, we found a random lake for the kids to wade and play in.  We ran in to some friends from Minnesota that were also at Cody at the same time, so they ended up joining us for a bit as well.
