Easter

Easter Sunday - busy as the rest of our lives! :) Brody and Beau got to serve breakfast at church this morning as part of the youth group, Brody played prelude with the bells choir, read the gospel and helped with communion for part of his confirmation assignments and he and I sang in the church choir.  Then it was on to Grandma Sheree's for our annual "mini" hunt where they get a few MORE treats from her. Then we headed out to my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Mike's where we had Easter dinner, spent time with family and did yet another hunt for baskets and eggs. I love our family traditions and spending time with everyone! So much fun!!

Weekend with Grandpa Stacy

During our crazy wrestling weekend, Grandpa Stacy got to join in on the fun! The bleacher butt was intense, but he was a good sport about the long car rides and sitting for hours watching Braxton and hanging out with the other grandkids...  We did get some fun in though, after wrestling was over we dyed our Easter eggs and spent time hanging out together at the house...

Wrestlemania!

Last weekend we headed out for a weekend of wrestling!  Braxton qualified for regionals in Pine River, so that meant wrestling in Bemidji on Saturday. He had to place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in order to move on from there. He pinned his first guy, won by points on his 2nd, pinned his 3rd and lost to his last guy to end up in 2nd place for the day. That means we are headed to Rochester next weekend for state wrestling!  Big things for our little guy!

We then headed up to Fosston on Sunday for team wrestling. Braxton is an alternate, so we were not sure how much wrestling that he would actually do, but he actually got to wrestle every round. The first round was just an exhibition match, but he was able to pin his guy. He then wrestled at the 45 or 50 pound weight class for the next 5 matches and won every one of his matches, either by points or by pin. It was a great weekend of wrestling and his coaches were very impressed with him.
